Driftwood & Quayside Cohousing Open House
Tour 2 existing Cohousing communities, ask questions and learn about the new East Van Cohousing project that you could be a part of!
Come and see what some real Cohousing Communities look like!
You're invited to attend an Open Day at our sister Cohousing's, Quayside and Driftwood Cohousing in North Vancouver! What better way to imagine what Cohousing will look like than be seeing one in person!?
Both these communities are both housed on Chesterfield Avenue so it's a great opportunity to see two very different Cohousing communities in one morning! .
They are very kindly hosting so you can show up anytime from 10am to 1pm and their residents will very kindly be leading tours of their buildings. There will also be snacks and crafts for sale with some proceeds going to the Food Bank. Both buildings are accessible and child friendly.
Residents will be able to share about their lives in Cohousing, why they were attracted to it, amenities they have and what their communities are like and the activities they have together. It's a great opportunity to ask questions that you may have! (We'll have a table at Driftwood if you're curious about our project!)
Quayside Village, (510 Chesterfield Ave, North Van) is one of the oldest local Cohousing projects in the Metro Vancouver area which is prized for it's eco-friendly nature and awards related to gardening and environmental stewardship!
Driftwood Village, (2123 Chesterfield Ave, North Van) is one of the newest Cohousing communities with 6 stories and 27 units including 2 - 4 bed + den homes that are fully occupied. As one of the newest Cohousing communities this is a closer example of what the East Van Cohousing building could be like in future!
We'll have a table at Driftwood Cohousing with some resources and group members so please stop and chat if you'd like to know more about our East Van Cohousing Project!
